The MonitorMix application for the Yamaha Digital Mixer RIVAGE PM/DM7/DM3/CL/QL/TF series allows individual wireless MIX/MATRIX/AUX mixing from iPhone, iPad or iPod touch devices. Each performer can have convenient control over the MIX/MATRIX/AUX buses assigned to them, without having to deal with complex settings or parameters. They can also create personal Group settings for even easier adjustment: all levels on just one fader, for example.
LS9 unsupported??
As the sound board for the church and with no one at the mixer while playing on stage, this would’ve been nice to have… but they decided not to support the ls9 for no good reason. It’s a similar platform like the other lines, so why are those supported, but not the ls9?? Quite irritating.
Is Yamaha planning to fix this app?
If your phone is stuck synchronizing, you need to update your DM3 firmware, you’re welcome.
Yamaha mon mix
This newest version is not working. It will not open on my iPad or my band mates. The previous version worked fine. Do not update until a newer version comes out.

Two app updates later and still broken for the DM3. iPhone stuck “synchronizing” to the mixer.

Needs Fixed Update
Needs update to fix most recent update which did not allow our worship team to fix their personal monitor mixes on the weekend of our Good Friday service and our multiple Easter services. Thankfully we had an old iPad that could not update to the latest update so we could adjust our mixes on the shared iPad but if we did not, it would have been very messy. Could we please have another update soon? If not, we may need to find a new in ear monitoring system to avoid the hassle of a shared device that we could be using for our chord charts. The app works great, otherwise. Thank you.
Connecting to sound board
If you are experiencing no connection between the app and your board, make sure your IP address for your board is different from your wifi connection (in your smart device) in order to control your IEM. With the new update we experienced not being able to connect to our app. Make sure you also update your firmware of your board and Dante patch if applicable. Double check your subnet in your board as well to make sure it matches in your wifi connection. Hope this helps!
