Promising but Confusing
Nothing is truly clear on how to work the app. No indication of how the buttons work or where in the next song you end up. The queued song starts wherever with no indication or control. Smart queue overpowers the user. It should be an on and off option for that. It’s just a music scramble.

I got this app hoping to replace having a DJ at my wedding. First, I made a spotify playlist with songs I liked, and I set Mixonset to Discovery Mode. I found several transitions that sounded cool. So then I modified the song order in spotify. You can also customize which parts of the song you want to hear. After that, I turned discovery off and just play the songs in the order I chose. Mixonset uses about three different transition types, but it’s fine for what I am using it for.

I looked forward to using this but when I got to the party location I realized there was no WiFi and the app can’t work without it. How much data does it use? Does it just use data to select etc or is it also streaming the music. My music is downloaded on my device through Spotify.
