The Pattern Mode is the essential feature in the context of musical and performative application. Therefore you have a simple, editable list of Patterns on the main screen. The Pattern Mode enables to build scenes with several instruments and samplers, each with different main settings like tempo, pitch, main EQ, sequence length as well as motion tracking connections. The additional Visual Interface gives you the possibility to design a whole new look for each scene. The visual corresponds to the sound as well as the motion interaction and main FX. In relation to your device it supports up to 3 display outputs with separate content. Soniface Pro combines a modular concept with spatial audio abilities. This offers new approaches to audiovisual performances and interactive installations. The desktop version supports surround sound output up to 7.1 speakers. The objects on the display become positioned within the XY field of the surround room. Soniface Pro does not refer to pro audio but allows you to use all facets of the software. As reference, you will find videos and music of our works (Ectoplastic) which were completely made with it, like multichannel audiovisual performances as will as our musical releases. There are a lot of pro features on our list and we are looking forward for the next update. Don't hesitate to write us your questions and feedback which we will answer personally. Information We do our best to avoid bugs, often enough they drive us crazy or were disappointed when a moment was lost. But it has to come out sometime and after the update before the update. So feel free to write us bugs and problems, definitely also if you made a song or video. Soniface needs access to the camera for motion tracking, the microphone for audio recording, the local files to save projects and recordings, and the network for Ableton Link. Much more content, terms of use, credits and FAQ are in the app's guide and can be found in the app's start-up menu. About Mazetools Empowering creativity, democratizing musical expression and making it inclusive - how does that work? These are the questions that keep us busy. Soniface is a first step in the process and provides important points of contact through the multitouch-based principle & motion tracking input. But we want to go further - with you and the community. We wish you a great time with Soniface Pro, Stephan & Jakob
YES YES YES IT HAS BEEN DONE!
Big ups to the developers U MADE IT HAPPEN!, Audiobus in effect, beautiful changes to the workflow.. so psyched this was sitting on my back burner fo ages, understanding the beauty of it but unable, for a number of reason, to incorporate it into my workflow. NOW it’s never coming off my pad. MUTANT is killer too, especially now, with its integration as well, a must buy. Screw ur wig on tight this thing gonna knock ur socks off. a work of Art. Congrats and well done to the team that made this happen
Really excellent creation tool, however….
I really enjoy the creative possibilities that this app presents, the interface is lovely(the new Hyperface stuff is excellent)and it sounds great…but the developers really need to make this an AU(or IAA) so we can use it in AUM and Cabasis etc. and they need to make it easy to import our own samples into the app. 5 stars if they add this stuff.
Very Creative, but won’t play through Bluetooth headphones?
I’ve spent about an hour trying to figure out why this won’t play through my AirPods. Seems like I’m not the only one having this problem. My other Mazetools app works fine (Mutant) so not sure what’s going on, and documentation/help is limited. Still, I’m happy to support the level of creativity that went into developing this app.
Brilliant.
Get this app! Then get their other apps as well.
Nice!
Just started exploring this unique instrument. Very creative and mind expanding experience. I will give it 5 stars once I can use it inside of AUM. The ability to import WAV fils and my own samples would be a big plus. Also, make this AUV3 and you really got something special.
Abstract Alien Spacecraft Joyriding!
The more I explore... the more I finally figure out how stuff works... and the more info I get from other users... the more I really love this app. It’s never cut and dried clearcut like a legacy tool you might be familiar with... but once you figure out the ignition switch, where the gas pedal is, and how to shift gears... taking this alien 👽 spacecraft out for abstract joyrides can be a rewarding stellar hoot. :) I think the reason most of the videos sound similar is that there’s only one dude (the dev) posting them, and that’s his style. A lot of the default settings are also set up to sound like what you see/hear in the videos. Once you start clearing the face panels and starting from scratch, as well as loading up your own samples... you can get VERY interesting and varying stuff from it. It’s definitely not for everyone, but for those who dig flying like ya stole it on alien spacecraft joyrides to abstract destinations unknown... its worth the initial frustration of trying to figure out how to hotwire the dang thing. ;)
Ok, this app is officially, “Sick”❣️
Update: Needs a PDF ‘MANUAL’! The ‘other’ reviewer said a ‘manual’ and tops & tricks, which this developer ‘heard’ was video tutorials. NO a MANUAL! Videos are fine, BUT ONLY TO A POINT. You can’t search videos. You can watch an entire video and NOT find the answer you’re looking for so you wasted the time watching the video. Get away from the boob-tube syndrome. —— I had to delete the app and re-install it because the 72MB app was using over a GB of memory. I could not find what was using all the memory use. I could find nothing in iCloud nor using Apple’s File app. And even though there are tutorial apps, those are not very useful when you only have a question. Videos you have to watch the whole video and the answer may not even be in it. So you waste time. I don’t understand why this is rocket-science for so many developers. User manuals! ——- I just got into the Physics feature of Soniface and this just gets crazy❣️😂😂 I am starting to get a handle on this fabulously original music app. I found a bunch of YouTube videos on Soniface I need to go watch. 😎 This is just ‘sick’ 👍 ——- It’s a little disappointing to spend $15 and not have the complete product but in the end I think it will be worth it. W/o IAP and playing audio in the background, it’s not real useful yet for me. It has a huge learning curse because of a ‘ton’ of features...maybe actually too many as, initially anyway, I’m finding that it’s WAY too easy to make rhythmic audio mud (that could just be my not knowing what I’m doing even yet, though I’m using small changes, but if I change too many parameters, even slightly, I’m back to audio mud. If I have not missed it, this app could use a multilevel ‘undo’ button. Instruction videos are good over but are a poor use of time if you just need a question answered. That, you need a pdf manual for (AND you can search them) I’ll keep playing around with the interface to get more familiar with it while I wait for u-dates that make it actually useful in my ‘sonic seasoning’ world. 🤓 👍 5-STARS though for thinking outside the box though (hear that Moog Music? Animoog isn’t enough 😎 )❣️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
