How to Access Cinema Soundbar and Fives, Sevens, and Nines Virtual Remote Capabilities:

Cinema 1200, 800, and 700
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the soundbar be running the latest update. This normally happens automatically when the soundbar has been connected to the Internet, either via Klipsch Connect or Google Home. If your device has not been connected to the Internet, please contact our Product Support Team for assistance. See details below.

The Fives, The Sevens, and The Nines, including McLaren Editions
Virtual Remote Control and EQ features require the powered monitors be running the latest update. If you have not updated your Fives already, please download the free "Klipsch The Fives Updater" app. This will walk you through the update process. After the update is complete, all future updates will come through Klipsch Connect. Our Product Support team can walk you through the entire process. Simply reach out to us at:

User friendly with convenient features

My learning curve for this app was sharp and fast. The features are intuitive. I especially like the presets for the EQ. Examples are presets for vocal, rock and flat. Plus treble, bass & midrange to create your custom setting or modify the presets. The power button is located on the home screen in the top right corner. Simple & functional the way an app should be; HOORAY!

Volume control buttons needed

I use this app to control the volume of the sound bar connected to my tv. I really wish the volume was buttons instead of a slide bar - it is hard to control.

Timeing out

Love the Nines! 1) please allow the app to stay connected. 2) add a function to adjust the speakers from automatic shutoff rather than just the 15 minute limit.

Just after I clicked the happy face for the app...

This new update is a lemon! No improvements. No extra bands for the EQ, resets my EQ settings every time, restarts my currently playing track if I open the app, and now the LED annoyingly blinks blue and white. I love my Klipsch Three Plus but the software is awful.

terrible support. The Fives have to be unplugged every day.

I'm working with John. Totally incompetent. He ignored the diagnostic file I sent which had all the information he needed. Kept asking me the same question: if there was an update available for the app on my iPhone. I repeatedly told him that there wasn't one and somehow he couldn't understand this. I eventually had to send him a screenshot. I get the feeling that these people don't understand Tech at all. they're just following some sort of decision tree that leads them in circles. Sad state of affairs.

Catastrophic update

(March 17, 2024) The last update doesn't even let the app shut the Three Plus off at a distance. It displays as off, but if you hit Play on any song or podcast using an iOS device, the speaker will come right back to life without even turning it on: it's only in sleep mode.

App rất tiện khi dùng để điều khiển loa Klipsch cenima 600, không phải dùng đến điều khiển loa, nhưng gần đây thi thoảng mất kết nối, cố gắng kết nối lại nhưng vẫn bị hiện tượng mất kết nối. Hơi nản!
