Not Responding...
I downloaded it and it worked 'fine' a handful of times but in general has been unreliable. It loads very slowly and then doesnt respond. If it does happen to work, its after having to forcequit, reboot, etc. By the time it starts to work, whatever creative space you may have been is completely obliterated.

I downloaded it, a screen opens with listing of songs, and it turns out that to hear more than 30 seconds of any song, you have to buy each one! There's a handful of free songs, primarily Christmas songs. Navigating back or to somewhere else is left to one's imagination, as there are no instructions, manual, or anything that can explain how it works. Nor does it say what each song costs. I've been a professional musician many years, and use backing tracks on a lot of my gigs, and this appears to be pretty useless. If there were some way to load tracks I already have, or to create any, that might be of some value, but this is no different that patronizing a karaoke site, that offers a player that will do all the things this one does. Since I already have a couple thousand tracks, including a good many of the ones they offer here, I'm certainly not going to buy songs I already have, just to play them on their player. I hardly consider something an app, that you have to pay for every song it can play. Pass on this...

I don't know if this app deserves 2 stars because I haven't been able to use it. It looks cool, but it freezes up everytime I open it. I would be inclined to re-submit a review if they get this fixed. Just updated to Catalina 15.5.5 but it dod not work on 15.5.4.

I'm a full-time performing and teaching musician, and this is just the most amazing ad useful app I have ever come across in the app store. The tracks are great to play with, and they cover a really wide range of literature from folk to rock to blues. Being able to repeat sections or multiple sections in the songs at the touch of a button is really useful for practicing, or just extending that solo out. The ability to mute and solo individual parts in the mix is brilliant - I and my students can learn so much from this. The ablitiy to slow down or speed up the song, and the option to transpose is also way cool. I am thrilled that you can have this app on your Mac, your iPhone, and your iPad, and the songs will automatically sync between devices. Thanks for this app - it's simply the best, better than all the rest.

We live and work mostly in Mexico. One of our businesses is a bar and restaurant on the beach and jamzone works great for some of the songs our houseband uses. Plus, I play guitar and ukulele as well and Jamzone is just great to practice, learn and have fun. The lyrics and chords are right there plus you have full control to edit the audio to increase, decrease or eliminate vocals, brass, drums...whatever! Plus change the tempo or key as well. It's realy addicting and I keep checking all the time for new songs they add!

Finally an app you can simply play along with. All you have to do is select a song and then intro, chorus, verse or whatever you want to focus on. Then it will loop. Don't want to hear vocals or specific instrument? Simply mute it. Now all they have to do get get a larger song base. They do have a good selection but there's a lot more that can be added. Modern pop, rock and Christian would be great! Thanks developers!! Great job
