iRaaga is a Carnatic Raaga Explorer and Player app. Raagas are similar to scales in western music. This app lets you preview and play all the 72 melakarthas (base scales) in any pitch.

For Indian classical music learners, this can serve as a quick aid to learn and practice different raagas. The grid layout is a fun way to explore the raga without worrying about going off-scale.

Absolutely fantastic!

Great for learning Melakartha as a westerner, and also useful as a chromatic singing study app regardless of musical culture background. Lovely, clean layout works equally well on iPhone or iPad. Would love to see MIDI out added and for this app to be usable as an AUv3 MIDI plugin. It is so enjoyable to use as a playing surface and would be amazing to be able to use it as a MIDI controller. Really love this app! ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
