Guitar Scales app contains scales for standard, 1/2 step down, 1 step down, standard B, drop D, drop C and drop A tunings. Highlight the whole fretboard to show which notes are within a chosen scale and a some positions (5 positions, 3 notes per string positions, diagonal positions) for each scale. Containing examples of the sound of scale and notes sounds. Optimised for all devices and tablets. Guitar Scales app has right-handed and left-handed modes. It can be useful for both novice guitar players and advanced players.

On the paid version you can no longer change the tunings. It’s stuck on standard tuning.

I have tried a lot of guitar theory and scale finding amps and this is by far the best one. I recently got stuck on a problem using three note per string scale patterns and after doing a little bit of theory to resolve the point I was then able to open this app and check my progress. I just spent an awesome Sunday afternoon relearning guitar theory and I enjoyed it and encourage you to learn and use your brain but hey man. “There is an app for that”. My only suggestion for improvement would be able to change what the neck looks like. Purely cosmetic. This app is sleek, easy to use, and full of information. Thank you.
