AVCast

AVCast is a media casting application for AVSub, the Subsonic streaming app.

Got an old iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch (iOS9+)?  Well, take it out of that drawer, dust it down and connect it to your music setup or pair it with your bluetooth speaker.  Then use AVSub to cast your media to AVCast for a true gapless and lossless experience.

Unlike hardware casting devices, AVCast supports gapless playback of a wide variety of formats, including MP3, FLAC, MP4, ALAC, Vorbis, Opus, WAV and DSD.

AVCast supports high-resolution digital audio output via CCK up to 24bit/192kHz.

AVCast also supports Replay Gain and cross-fading.

AVCast fully supports album art and the status screen presents all the media details you could need.

Why buy a hardware streaming device when you can repurpose your old device as a full-blown audio casting engine!
