An apogee boom does not get enough power from either an ipad7 or an ipad pro 2nd gen with oem or alternative camera adaptor and a direct plug.

Mine stays on “waiting on device” and I have my quartet plugged with power supply. However, my iPad works with sound but not app. I’m still looking for solutions.

I thought the app wasn’t working (stuck on Waiting for device…) but it turns out that the Apple USB-HDMI adapter was not working. Note that you MUST use an adapter with a power supply, you cannot directly connect the Duet to your iPad with a USBC cable as there is not enough power for the Duet.
