You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app. · Connect your Sentara account to Apple Health to pull health-related data from your device into the Sentara app To access Sentara MyChart, you must first create a Sentara account. To sign up for an account, visit Sentara.com or download the app and click on Sign Up. After you’ve signed up, turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your Sentara username and password each time. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in Sentara MyChart. Your website just gets better and better! Not sure when you added it but the additional information about the weather and it’s effect on the news, health, etc. is wonderful. If it’s been there all along, I apologize but I just discovered it and like it lots; and thank you for adding it. Now though . I realize you have numerous patients and some of them may leave crackpot comments. However I can find no vehicle to provide constructive criticism or issues someone in a position of authority may want to look at to improve everyday patient care. This app need an option to allow this feedback. You can either reply your concern is noted or maybe look at how SENTARA can do things a little better. Not all of us are idiots.

I love Mychart. However on April 19th I had an X-ray done. Whoever posted the test results posted a copy of my doctor’s orders rather than the test results! I never had this happen before. I hope my results weren’t posted to someone else’s chart.

I think “my chart” is the best thing the medical field has done! It’s nice to be able to check on appointments, results of a test, send your doctor a note, and request meds. The app is always there when people are sometimes too busy to answer the phone or talk to you in person. If there is a word you don’t understand they have a dictionary right there to define the word for you. It’s easy to navigate and wherever you go you have your medical record with you!
