needs a better way to end migraines
Overall, I like the app. And it lets you record headaches that occurred/started earlier. However if you if forget it’s running the time you end it is considered the total duration of the headache. There needs to be a way to end at a pervious date/time; not just end now or delete the data.
Very helpful
As a recent person who has been diagnosed with chronic migraines, this app has been very, more like extremely helpful I’m tracking my migraines/headaches. Instead of guessing the amount I have monthly, I now know the exact number. I can pull up my past months and let my doctor know exactly how many I’ve had. Highly recommended.
Softer Tone Needed
Used this app for the first time, and while it seems to be a fairly easy process the thing that stood out to me the most was the brightness. Personally, I’m in dark mode whenever I can be and it’s especially helpful when you are in the middle of a migraine trying to type information not to have bright colors thrown at you. Is there a way we can select dark mode for this app??
Unable to register
This app sounds really good. I downloaded the app but am unable to register. The birthday field is set to today's date and I am unable to change it.
for Chronic Migraine
You need this for Chronic Migraine. The App is very helpful to track triggers, weather related trends, medication/treatment effectiveness, and symptoms. After initial setup, monitoring episodes is relatively easy. If even the light from my screen is too much during an attack, I can easily log it after the fact. Oh, and it’s FREE/NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED. Chronic illness is hard enough to navigate and live with, the addition of predatory impossible to unsubscribe from service charges doesn’t help anyone just trying to keep their head above water. I understand that the trade off in data collection by the developer is most likely what pays for this. But if my health data and limited amounts of digital tags and identifiers will keep this free for those suffering with the debilitating reality of Chronic Migraine, have at it. Upon diagnosis of Chronic migraine(20+ multi hour to days long migraines per month) and beginning treatment, I needed a way to track my progress more efficiently than on a notepad or, let’s be honest, random scraps of paper wherever I happen to be. Check lists, med lists with time/date stamps that can be graphed and printed WIN hands down against piles of whatever I could scribble in a dark room, eyes rolling in my head half closed, while incapacitated(that usually end up in the trash rather than logged or added to my over stuffed medical binder, which the thought of, itself, is enough to induce a migraine). Set-up with my list of meds, triggers and symptoms took about 15 mins. Changing/Adding new meds is easy. Over a year of tracking I’ve gained much greater insight into causes of and when to take preventative measures for episodes. The weather(temp/humidity/pressure) data attached to entries has been invaluable. The data backing up my extreme sensitivity to heat/humidity/high pressure helps me better prepare for and prevent episodes(ie. Cranking the AC, drinking more water, making sure ALL of the ice packs are in the freezer and not under the bed/couch/in the hamper or wherever I chucked them after they thawed to unusable and I switch to burying my head under the cooler side of my pillow) Once I got into the habit of it, it’s made my Dr. check-ups and check-ins much easier. I don’t have to remember how many migraines and which triggers/symptoms I had each month, I open the app waiting for the Dr. and go from there. I can’t speak to the direct to Dr. connectivity as my care team is not in this network of RPM, but I’m sure it is helpful keeping track of Rx refills, appointments etc. if yours is. If you made it all the way through this rant, let me say it one more time… You NEED this. Directly to developers, Thank you for this. Thank you for helping make terrible things easier to manage. The help and agency over care and management of this chronic illness is so very much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you. P.S. Monitor for Long Covid would be AMAZING P.P.S. Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, or just general major Systems(CNS,Digestive,Renal) Monitors would also be AMAZING P.P.P.S Thank you, again.
Very Helpful
I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now. It’s going to be very useful for giving my doctor data when I go see her. It’s user friendly.
Great way to track migraines!
This app has been very helpful for helping me to think about possible triggers. It can be difficult to determine what triggers cause migraines such as weather, sleep or stress. I love that I can add a migraine later, once it’s done. I am so glad I found this app!
