Notifications
I loved this app. however after i would consistently use it for a few weeks my notifications would randomly turn off for it. this happened 3 separate times throughout my last semester. I have now tried to go back into the app to use regularly again and every time i try to go through my settings to enable notifications the option isn’t even there. therefore i can’t really use the app which is upsetting. and i have found no place to report this problem other than here.
Well-made app, but key problems exist
This is a well-constructed app with a lot of good things to say about it. 1. The onboarding and schedule set-up are logical and pretty simple. 2. They have a good database of meds including common images of the various pills (although they don’t have a way to add a multivitamin, which is odd and probably easy to fix). 3. The notification system works as you’d expect and the alert sound, though not customizable, is unique and calming. That said, the part of the application that you interact with multiple times a day - the checklist of meds taken, and when - is buggy and kind of confusing. 1. When checking my first item after the checklist appears, I will check the item and it will sort into the completed section, but then immediately revert, requiring me to check it again. 2. Exacerbating the above problem, but also a primary problem in itself, is the decision to have checklist items move to another section on the screen immediately after checking them as completed. Not only is that motion disorienting and confusing, but the remaining items in the list have also moved position on the screen, since there is now one less item in that section. It’s maddening and obviously not a good experience. It is not necessary to re-sort the list every time something is checked. Just let people check items and click save, and if any sorting needs to happen, just do that behind the scenes so it’s sorted when the list is reopened. If you change #2 alone, all other deficiencies could be easily ignored and you’d have a five-star app. Im a product designer myself so I understand that it is very difficult to make software. You are very close on this app, and I’d even pay for it. But the one interaction that your users will do every day needs some serious attention. Thank you for this app. I’ll keep using it but would love to see those issues addressed!
Essential!!!
Absolutely essential in my day to day! I’ve taken meds for 20+ years and never have I been able to stay so on top of consistent timing. Pretty easy to set up too.
Amazing creators and team
The team has an amazing social media account and is fun
rlly helps me!!
I often forget to take my meds and downloading this app rlly helped me. I haven't forgotten since I downloaded it! To me it's like a fun little game now. I like that the notifications are persistent!
Straightforward, works
An intuitive app that’s easy to set up and does what it says
Simple, easy
Please consider adding dosage types of sublingual and injection. While I know how I take a med, if emergency personnel access this in the future, I’d like THEM to know
