Stole My Money
DO NOT BUY! I took my MCAT months ago (did not use this app) and was surprised this morning to see a charge on my card for this app. I haven’t paid for it in months because I cancelled my subscription, but somehow it stole my money this morning! As a low income student, this is very upsetting—that is $30 that I can’t spare! This app is just stealing money from vulnerable students, when it should be helping us study to become physicians. DO NOT BUY!

I used this app to first begin preparing for the MCAT. I knew this app was effective because it made me feel like I really had a lot more studying to do. It does a good job showing you where you are weak.

I was first excited that they had mnemonics. However, within about 5 minutes of trying it out, I found a mnemonic that was totally wrong. Regarding Muscle Contraction, it said “Calcium cation attaches to CALMODULIN, which activates Myosin.” Definitely wrong!

This app is a great study tool for the MCAT. It allows you to mar what you know and what you don’t allowing you to prioritize what you need to work on. I think they could improve if they added a highlight tool that allows you to highlight important information in the explanation of the answer but otherwise I think it’s great

This has a 20$ a month subscription and it is super hard to cancel so it says try it out for free for 3 days but then you can’t cancel. Don’t download this trap!!!
