iGeriatrics combines American Geriatrics Society's clinical tools & references into one free, easy to use application. iGeriatrics is an excellent AGS resource for all healthcare providers taking care of older adults. • Geriatrics 5Ms Quick Guide provides a framework for caring for older adults that aligns with the 4Ms of Age Friendly Health Systems. • Quick Guide to Diabetes Management provides a 5-step framework on diabetes management in older adults, and is based on the recommendations from the American Diabetes Association and the American Geriatrics Society. • Geriatrics Cultural Navigator offers quick guidance on issues and concerns regarding the beliefs, traditions, and customs that would apply to clinical encounters with older adults of diverse ethnic backgrounds. • Quick Guide to Common Immunizations includes essential information about must-have vaccines for older adults. • GeriPsych Consult was developed to assist healthcare providers in managing psychotic symptoms and disorders in older adults. • Cognitive Screening Toolkit provides access to ten cognitive screening tests that are recommended by the USPSTF. This toolkit can help in selecting the appropriate cognitive screening tool to use with primary care patients. • Management of Atrial Fibrillation discusses the recommendations of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the American Heart Association (AHA) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Guidelines and their effectiveness in managing AF to prevent strokes. Not worth subscription
After playing with the app, I feel like it has a lot of great information. I am a soon to be FNP and think that this information is a great reference tool for new providers. However, it’s also a lot of basic information we learned in our studies. I don’t think this app would be worth the $9.99 simply for the BEERS criteria. It would be great to have on hand, but I can also use the internet from my computer to get that information for free. Overall, it’s a great resource tool for new practitioners but I don’t recommend a subscription, at least at the $9.99 price.
Cannot cancel subscription
This app is not helpful at all. I have been trying to cancel my subscription, but am unable to access the account settings, and there is no way to reset the password. Save your money, avoid this app.
Can’t open anything
I wanted to preview this app, but every single topic you try to open says you need to download the full version. Not helpful.
Does not work!!
I was told this was a great resource from my professor. It has a bug and will not even open. Says there are no products for prescriptions.
disappointing
Scanty content. There is not enough information for the price of the app.
Free trial?
Why would I pay $9.99 for a subscription when I don't even know if I like the app or find it useful? A free trial would be appreciated.
Meh
I find Medscape to be a lot more helpful. The Beers list is handy, but otherwise I don't use this app.
