The UCSF Hospitalist Handbook is a concise yet comprehensive bedside guide to inpatient medicine. It covers diagnosis and management for common issues in cardiology, critical care, pulmonology, nephrology, hematology/oncology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, infectious disease, rheumatology, and neurology, among others.
Intern lifesaver
My favorite resource and has saved my life. Clear, direct, and to the point. Couldnt live without it
Please update?
Very useful app. Could you please consider updating it so it’s less buggy? Thank you!
Frustrating to Use
The information contained within the app is absolutely essential, but the speed (or lack thereof) with which it displays the information is absolutely maddening. I don’t need to reference the app, because I genuinely would spend the same time amount time just accessing UpToDate.
The best but unreliable performance
Deserves five stars but subheadings are often unable to display information on the first tap, if at all. Information is otherwise amazing and concise. Fast, if it works as intended
Go-to inpatient medicine reference
Easier to use and better organized than the MGH book, though not updated as regularly. But full of more useful point of care things, like capacity assessment flowcharts and tables full of antiarrhythmics and their dose ranges. Works offline unlike UpToDate. My most used inpatient medicine reference.
Great ap
This is a very helpful app to quickly review topics. I would like to make a request to expand topics by default or have a setting to do so. For some reason the app can be a little glitchy and not open the sections.
Look for alternatives
Definitely doesn’t worth the price, would not recommend at all...
