A folder full of scanned pages would be more useful.
Yet another hasty tablet port. Hey folks, a Macintosh has a full GUI with menus and such, try to take advantage of it. This app just shows images & text (or the chapters/thumbnails—no, you can't see both at the same time) from Gray's Anatomy, one by one. You get a list of chapters to jump to, but nothing else, and no search function either. Want to find pages on the tibia? You'll have to go a page at a time through the Osteology chapter. Have fun with that.
1958
That's the year the original was printed. I agree that the implementation could be improved. But let's be serious, There was a lot of work that went into digitizing this valuable work, to say nothing of the original words and art. More folks might be better served appreciating what is rather than focusing on what is not. I can't figure out how to make gestures with my trackball, and the "zoom" menu item doesn't seem to do much of anything. The directions, since they don't really exist, aren't a lot of help. But, then again, maybe the person(s) who did all the work on this thought that anyone bright enough to want/need to read/use this material would be bright enough to figure out how to use it. Then again, maybe they just figured that they could eliminate the less bright so as to help protect the rest of humanity. I have no idea. As far as my usage goes I don't need to zoom on my 27" screen. I can see that this might be an issue on smaller screens. I think the scans are as good as possible, or very close to that goal. This is a wonderful gift from the authors and those that did the scanning. If you really need notes on the computer, break down and splurge $1.99 on the Premium edition!
Awesome!
Although the info is a bit old, this app is by far the best digital version of this text that I’ve seen! It is very convenient to navigate through and find specific things and the pictures can be seen alongside a scrolling text box which makes it much easier to read. Thanks so much!
none
Very basic. Not enough detail. No muscular tendon info. Mostly black and white drawing. No real pictures or detail.
OMG
WOW thank you whoever put it here!
great photos, bad user interface
this app would be a lot better if it was more organized with subchapter subjects. like a drop down menu or something. its very hard to navigate because you have to search through thumbnails. a search feature would be nice to. again very hard to navigate
LOVE IT! BUT PLEASE INCORPORATE THE SEARCH IN TEXT FEATURE!!
Like my tittle says I love this app, it's a must have for med students. It's just missing the search feature, it would be really useful since it's an important advantage of virtual material. PLEASEE ADD THIS FEATURE!!
