Works well
It gets the job done but Complete Anatomy is much better. I am grateful that this app is a one time buy, and I don't have to repurchase. That makes this worth it!
buggy, side buttons don't appear
Great app! probably the nicest UX and UI for anatomy apps, BUT theres a bug, the side menu buttons frequently fail to display. They are there and function if you blindly click on where the button should be, but they aren't visually displayed. Also happens with the control menu. I'm using a 2021 iMac, M1, with MacOS Monterey ver 12.3.1, so not hardware or OS version problem.
Superb for Patient Education
I pop this app at least 3 times a day to show a patient something. It's perfect for that
Crashes
I purchased this app, for 19.99 it downloaded, but when I start it up it continues to crash. I am on Big Sur 11.6.... Need help
Seems plagued with continuous hardware issues?
* 2021 Update-- Downloaded it again as it says on the app page that it works with my system but that doesnt seem to be the case. I just get an error that its been damaged and needs to be reinstalled. I suppose its time to permanently throw this app in the garbage. Mac Pro 2019 Big Sur 11.4 * 2020 Update-- Stopped using the app for quite some time until recently. Reinstalled on my Mac Pro 2019 with Catalina and when I tried to open it, it simply would continuously open and close for a couple of minutes before displaying an error with a message to reinstall it. So I did. Seemed to fix the issue but a week later it has happened again which is unfortunate as I was really able to use the software. So I will try to reinstall it again. From an artists perspective I don't think it does a well enough job of presenting the muscles in a visual way that is helpful for artists. From a medical perspective it probably does what you need as it will give you the muscles and names. For my current project that is all I needed so it has worked well for me-until this happened. ------------- Bought this when using Yosemite and it worked well but with El Capitan it simply hangs when I try to load it.
Great app if it would work
I love this app and have used it from undergrad to med school, but recently it has started blacking out when I try to open it on my computer, making it unusable. It wouldn't be so bad since it works on my iPad just fine, but I'm frustrated because I paid for the computer app separately, so I expect it to work just as well.
Good app for students new to anatomy
This app works great for my anatomy for dancers course, though I wish you could select and move the image while zoomed (aside from the helpful rotating feature).
