Great tool for recovery!
This has been a great help on my road to recovery. However I’ve run into an issue, where my progress hasn’t been tracked since February 17. Today is March 17 and I’m worried my progress isn’t being shown. I don’t know if this is an issue on just my end but I would love to see my progress going forward.
Easy to track with details if needed
I love tracking on this app! I have not found any other food logging apps where there is no calorie counting without it being 5 minutes to log all the details around a meal. My favorite part is the easy to read data sheet you can export for any time period. This is the only way I have been able to consistently log in with a neutral mindset and send the data to my providers.
crashing
i love this app but it keeps crashing !!
LOVE but….
absolutely love this app and i’ve made it a habit to use it everyday. it helps me to realize what i’m putting into my body - from it being healthy to the portion i served myself. the exercises are amazing and remind me of certain DBT skills. BUT! the app crashes and closes every time i try to view the diary tab so i am unable to actually look back on my previous meals. please fix so i can continue using this everyday.
This app has been helping me so much but I have a few suggestions
First off, I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am for this app, it's hard for me to keep track of a physical journal but I will always have my phone on me I love the chat feature and feel it's the perfect amount of time, it's not too long where I feel I need to set aside time to do it and it's not so fast I barely get to process what it said Writing how I felt while eating and what I ate has been making me so mindful of how I'm feeling towards what I'm eating. One suggestion I would add to the food log is satiation! Like, how satisfied are you? "still hungry, full, uncomfortably full" something like that. I think it would help with learning hunger cues a bit more. I would also add a few more emotions to the emotions vocabulary but I feel right now it has a good range of words, it could just use a few extras I would also add a section to the resources page with links about how to build good and satisfying meals, I'm a nutrition student (ironic, I know) and know what a balanced meal is supposed to look like (I just have trouble following it sometimes...) and a lot of times I see people online creating meals that are not satisfying and get frustrated with themselves when they're hungry later. I think easy access to a few links like this might be helpful for them. Overall, this app is amazing. I wanted to keep track of what I ate in a non stressful way and without thinking about measurements or calories and this app does it for me! It's so therapeutic writing out how I feel in both the food diary and the mood diary and I love that you can see the progress. Sometimes I find food related apps like calorie trackers can be really stressful for me to the point where I don't even wanna open it when I over eat or under eat because I feel like the big red numbers just make me feel awful. I 100% recommend this to anyone struggling with food
Love it with some feature requests
Love love love this app. It’s perfect! Just two things would make it even better -allow an option so photos can appear in the export. I share these with my therapist and it would be super helpful if that were on the pdf -allow the ability to edit the time on a past entry. It’s the only thing that isn’t editable. Sometimes I miss the time field (it’s fairly hidden in the UI) and I want to go back to revise, but I have to re enter everything all over again to change the time. Again thanks so much for this wonderful app!
I Love This App But..
I really do enjoy this app. It's very helpful, insightful, and a great way to keep me motivated to have my everyday meals. However, I think this app deserves an update. I'd definitely love there to be more activities within the app. Maybe even a calendar like one reviewer mentioned. Would also love to see the continuous crashing getting fixed. The app wasn't crashing when I began using the app, but now it crashes quite frequently. Which is super unfortunate. Other than that though, I love this app. Thank you to the developers for making such a great up for those of us with EDs and disordered eating habits! 🩷
