BrainLog is currently exclusively compatible with the Interaxon Muse EEG headset (http://www.choosemuse.com/). Use BrainLog to quickly and easily record your brainwaves and export them to iCloud in a convenient .csv format for later analysis. Click on a cell to view a preview of the recorded data.
Doesn’t work
Don’t buy it doesn’t recognize the muse as a device to connect to whether connected or not
Will not connect with my Muse
I’m going to request a refund as the app does not connect with my Muse. There is no issue with my Bluetooth as the Muse app connects just fine with the headset. Disappointed!
Needs a lot of work
Besides the extreme rough UI, it doesn’t work most of the times. It says “muse says Hi” and then tells you that it is not connected (no other apps in background) The two times that mysteriously worked was quite useful
Crashes
Crashes if you try to visualize
Crashes and unable to access graphical data
I hope this app is a work in progress. As it now stands, I feel 99 cents is too high a price for a semi-functional app. Though after looking at the developer's site, I am optimistic it will be improved with future updates.
The precise app I need, yet never loads
I'm still in the middle of a multiple day hunt for an EEG that actually manages to record and export raw brainwave data, and upon first discovery I thought this was the end of my search and I could go forward with my blissfully nerdy biodata collection. I've not gotten the app to open past the start screen and occasionally it will hang unresponsive after "crashing" and a screen that can't do anything. On the plus side, it was a free offered application so I am very thankful I hadn't spent money on an nonfunctional app
- Bug fixes for compatibility with Muse 2016 - Decreased load times for longer recordings - ability to scroll through recorded data previews
