Jury’s still out
While there’s a community aspect underneath that makes it feel like there’s something more than a gratuitous money grab here, the UI needs work. Browsing is awkward and requires lots of clicks in unexpected ways. In order to “pass” on someone, you have to dig into their profile by clicking (the UI don’t offer you an “x” at the top level), but you don’t have to in order to “like” (💙) them. This is weird and unintuitive. When you “like” someone, you have to manually scroll to the next person in the queue. Why? You can’t contact them again, so it should automatically advance. It does advance when you “pass” on someone. Why should “liking” be different? These are strange design choices and affect usability significantly. I get frustrated using it, frankly. It also seems the community isn’t that large and I’m in the largest city in the country, where you’d expect it to be large. Perhaps they’re new and growing, which is fine; you have to start somewhere, but they need product help. It’s awfully clunky atm. I also “boosted” myself for 12 hours for $6 and got crickets. I believe I’m not unattractive and my profile is somewhat interesting (although they should allow them to be longer) so I’m assuming the ratio of men to women is quite lopsided. Hopefully with time it all improves. Given Feeld’s disastrous relaunch in December there’s a huge vacuum for other apps to take advantage of.

In theory this is a great idea but unfortunately it’s not really LGBTQ+ friendly (unless you’re a woman then it appears to be strongly encouraged). Theres no way to search by orientation so you can spend eons looking for other queer people and if you’re anything other than a straight guy be prepared for some possible hostility no matter how friendly you are. Yes there is a filter by orientation but let’s say you filter by bisexual, it will produce couples that has one bisexual and possibly (usually) one heterosexual For example if one was looking for a couple where the male half is bisexual, this is not possible. Same if you’re looking for a couple where both partners are a specific orientation.

The number one thing to know? This is not a hookup app. Don’t join for that. This is a place to make amazing friends who you will sometimes also get to meet up with for more than friends activities. As a woman this is the best place to make friends you can talk with about the journey from vanilla to beyond. I’ve learned from very experienced couples and singles on how to adapt to the experiences which I now greatly enjoy. The parties are my absolute favorite, I’ve been to 5 now. But, the chat groups are where I am every day talking to my friends, sharing pix, laughing and yes, making connections to meet face to face. New people often want to skip to the meeting up with people part and that’s just not how this works for the most part. But, if you’d like to join a thriving community of like minded people who don’t just wanna swipe and sext this is your new home. People do travel for parties, and for private meets, we recently hosted an out of town friend for the weekend. That kind of thing takes time to cultivate. But, looking to sext or hook up on a horny day out of the blue isn’t going to be forthcoming for most folks. Cheating is very frowned upon by other members. The community is very sex positive, supportive of ENM, poly, and other alternative lifestyles IF everyone is giving consent. Don’t join to cheat on your spouse. It won’t go well for you in this group. People who are open and honest thrive and have the best time of their sixy adult lives

Constant asking of fees to access the site and it's features. Deleted my account but still got charged the subscription fee, and not able to contact support to solve this. Scammed me out of my hard earned money.
