I saw the option to link Facebook to your account, but doing so creates an entirely separate account — so what’s the point of seeing it if I’m already a user?? Do a Quality Assurance check on your UX.

SpareRoom misused my IP and data by banning all of my accounts from my temporary IP because I questioned living with someone who discriminated against me for being straight.. SERIOUSLY. The renter (who would have held my security deposit btw) told me that “I had to be trans in order to move-in”, then when I told them that SpareRoom has a feature for preferred gender and that they were discriminating against me, they told me to screw off. I contacted SpareRoom and they’ve ignored all my customer service emails, then that’s when I found out they were blocking my IP. Personally reporting Flatshare Ltd to my congressman and the FBI for the trafficking taking place on SpareRoom today then following through after. Time to Hunt.

I’ve tried quite a few apps and this is the only FREE app that’s always made the process of finding tenants easy and streamlined. I’ve successfully gotten both my rooms rented for the last 3 years, often in less than a month. I also appreciate Customer Service for their support when a candidate acted weird. They stepped in immediately and kicked them off the site. 😁 👏

Landlords charge too much and don’t like you to use kitchen, snug or sitting room. Very tense atmosphere. Multiple cats walk in dining table and counters when you eat. It smells like cat poo and urine. Landlords are rude, obnoxious and disrespectful. They go in your room and snoop when you are out. Over the top glitter, glass and tat decor. They have very volatile tempers and are prone to violence and drunken nights with projectile vomiting. They are up every morning at 7:00 running vacuum,blasting music, and yelling. Probably sb screened better and not allowed to advertise on your site.

In this update, we’ve made significant improvements to the saved ads experience. You can now filter them by status (saved, contacted, shown interest, hidden), sort them (newest, last updated, highest rent/budget, lowest rent/budget), and view them on a map. We’ve also added some extra functionality to messaging. If you’ve got multiple active ads, you’ll now be able to filter your conversations to see just ones about a specific ad or just those from users with room wanted ads you’ve contacted.
