With the latest update, I no longer can see the texts sent to my daughter nor can we update her schedule on the watch. Before the latest update, I would have given it 5 stars. It was everything we needed in a watch/phone for our daughter—a way to give her more autonomy but safely. Now I’m starting to look at other options for her.

I got this for my son and daughter at Christmas. It was so much work setting up my son’s watch that I still have never set up my daughter’s watch. My son rarely has interest in wearing his watch because all it does is calls, which those work well, but it only video calls me because I have the app. Not sure if it can video call other numbers because it’s so much work to try and figure out. And I’d love to be able to text him any time but I can’t figure out how it wired sometimes and mostly not. He hasn’t even tried to text anyone else. And it’s cool I can take a picture from his watch any time, but still not necessarily helpful other than maybe it can help me see where he’s at because the location it’s telling me is SO FAR AWAY it’s impossible to trust where he’s actually at. In other words I can be holding the watch and it will still tel me it’s out of the neighborhood a mile away! I’m very frustrated. Plus I can’t even change the name it calls me. It says I’m brother, indicating that’s my identity as the manager of the account. It won’t let me adjust anything.

The call and text work great! The video chat has commercials while you are trying to answer the call, so that’s hard to use and the location is a little off.
