Don’t update the current apple software
Updating your Apple software will leave your savant app on your iPad unusable. Savant needs to update the app to work with the current version of iOS 11.
Please update.
One more iOS update and I won't be able to run this version.
Don't update
Unfortunately I had my iPad set to auto update apps. The is the second time Savant updates screws up your system. The truecontrol II makes the screen about 1/3 size and unusable. I downloaded this trucontrol and it will not hold your name and password so you have to sign in on each use. When you pay as much as Savant costs there just is no excuse for this
Multi-Room-Control menu inaccessible
52.1.0 now sorts and groups the zones under Multi-Room-Control menu but the zone you are on MUST be active in order to even access the Multi-Room-Control menu. Seems counter-intuitive since the entire purpose of accessing the Multi-Room-Control menu is to control other rooms- current room being active or not should be irrelevant. Other than that- awesome app!
Surprise that you have to pay for this App
Not sure why after spending so much money on savant system controllers and equipment that you have to actually pay for the apps separately. To my knowledge this is the first. Sonos and other home automation providers do not charge for it. Oh...btw you have to pay for iPad as well as iphone app individually. Poor judgement.....
Great app but fix one thing
The volume up button is very close to the volume slider. So a couple times I am tapping the volume up and accidentally double tap the slider. This causes the slider to jump to the top and almost destroy my speakers and eardrums. It should not be easy to make that mistake but I've done it more than once. Couple suggestions could help 1. more space between volume button and slider 2. Disable the double tap on the slider, don't think it's needed anyway. 3. Maybe allow a threshold setting so the volume can't go past without some special action-although that's complicated so prefer 1 and 2. Looking forward to future improvement on a great app. Thanks.
Keyboard
Hey ive really enjoyed your app so far, but there is one thing i find concerning/sometimes irritating. your program for typing. it is slow and sometime very frustrating. i reccommend. NAY, IMPLORE that you make the ipad/iphone's pop up keyboard accessible to use for this application instead of the very slow d-pad. thank you.
