Our experience focuses only on categories of fun: eats, drinks, music, podcasts, books, movies, TV shows, and travel.

This isn't a reviews app. It's a practical form of social media for the things you love - all positivity.
Here are a few things you can do on the app:
- Share photos of your recs into the timeline feed
- Showcase your personality through the recs collected on your profile page
- DM your friends individually and in group chats to banter about recs
- Search for helpful details on anything that’s possible to recommend, from restaurants, hotels, trail heads, and coffee shops to movies, shows, songs, and podcasts
- Save your friends' recs to your personal to-do list and keep track of the recs you’ve discovered on Reckit

Can’t CREATE an account with email…

…only with phone number. The app gives me email as an option for creating an account, then take it away AFTER I enter my email/password. It says it’s invalid, even though I’m trying to CREATE an account, not log in to an EXISTING account. So how can it be invalid? This app will create a new account ONLY WITH PHONE number, but I want to create an account using my email. This app seems shady to me, but I wouldn’t know how good or bad it is because I can’t use an email to create an account. Also, pet peeve: why is it not available in iPad/landscape format? (I could say this about so many other apps as well.) I will gladly change my rating if developer fixes the account-creation weirdness, or explains why I’m wrong about this.

Very helpful!

When I moved up to NYC, I downloaded this app and as a result have found tons of restaurants and bars to go to that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. It’s got a great user interface and I look forward to continued use of the app.

Love it!

Reckit is great when traveling! So many restaurants suggested that I would have never known about. Not only are there great restaurants but books, tv shows, movies and podcast recommendations!
