Want to monitor PSK31 transmissions, without using a bulky computer? PSK31 lets you view ham radio PSK31 transmissions on your iPad. Just set your iPad next to your radio, tune in a PSK31 frequency, and watch the decoded text. There's a waterfall display of the audio spectrum, showing all of the PSK31 transmission. Tap on a signal, and PSK31 tunes into that transmission. Get your copy of PSK31 right now, and start decoding and displaying PSK31 transmissions in minutes.
It does work, but it still needs work...
As I review this app, it appears that PSKer (which frankly has better functionality) has stopped working all together since the developer of that app stopped updating it years ago and now that app doesn’t accept audio input (needs permissions fix to be current with iOS). This app does work, but is a little rough around the edges. I wish it supported landscape mode for the iPad, tagging of waterfalls, and a more intuitive interface. In short, this is all we have for PSK on iOS right now and...at least it works, but still - wish the app would be updated. I’d gladly pay for it. 73, KI4ASK
It works, but....
It does work with my Easy Digi by KF5INZ interface. Main problem I have is that you can not change the rotation of the app. I use it with an iPad Pro connected to a keyboard case. The will not display in landscape orientation (sideways), only in portrait mode. This makes the waterfall display small and I have to use the iPad outside of keyboard case. If it would display in landscape orientation with a larger waterfall, then I would use it more.
Eh.....well if nothing else
Okay. So I tried this with PSK31 and it works 'okay' but not the greatest. It will not copy PSK63. It would be great to have something like fldigi for iOS. Michael
Needs major update
Please add support for Apple Watch. Doesn't do a good job decoding. Needs ability to transmit as well.
Too Noise Sensitive
Too noise sensitive to really be of any use.
Not the easiest to use
Noise sensitive and difficult to transmit
Needs more work
These three apps for Ham Radio, RTTY, PSK31, and SSTV would be great, but they each have problems. AND THERE"S NO WAY to contact the developers. I've tried and tried to find a way. There is a public forum, but try as I may, I can not get joined or signed up. No email is returned after registering. Each of the three apps needs a "CLEAR SCREEN BUTTON" The RTTY app will not send the correct characters. There are other negatives. The concepts are good, but what a annoyance to have paid for these and not be able to get any troubleshooting help or problem reporting. Don't waste your money ... YET.
