Sloppy engineering
For an unrelated reason I looked at the Activity Monitor, and notcied that this extension was using as mush CPU time as the Safari with ±50 tabs — rougly 23%. Whaaaat !? I'll disabled this extension and may use it only at exactly the time of doing purchases.
Honey is all up in my face
It feels a lot more like advertising spam. Funny considering I own the product. The app is not allowing me to read websites or click anything on right sides of webpages. It’s worse than the 90’s MS word paperclip guy that follows you no matter how much you scroll down. Really bad design, just completely thoughtless on function. Having it as an option is enough, it is in the top part of safari for god sake, what more visual pollution do you really need? I really, really don't need it disrupting my day every day making working websites broken because of Honey app. pretty simple.
Useless - Possible Scam?? (Sounds like Paypal)
I installed this to try to get a quick deal without much effort. And I also used RetailMeNot to manulaly look up a coupon code. Honey used the same coupon that I found on RetailMeNot but my total was nearly $2 more than if I entered it manually. Is Paypal skimming some of the value off the top? I suggest avoiding out of principal.
bad performance
I've been trying to figure out what's been eating up all the CPU time on my computer,....and its this. Its obviously tracking all keystrokes on every page. User beware.
Interferes with websites
In theory this could be a good idea, but it tends to interfere with websites loading. The popups regularly get in the way and are placed in an awkward position. It ends up being more annoying than it's worth.
Saves money easily
Honey usually works well to use discount codes. It's always there to remind me to use it.
Awesome
I have saved over $400 using this app it works!!!
