It keeps disconnecting from my home wifi, I have to repeat the set up over and over. In this state the app is not useful at all which makes the module I bought for my endless pool a waste of money.

Seriously. Every phone, tablet and laptop, on the market has decent WiFi range. You’re lucky to get this device to work within 20 feet from your router or range extender. As I look through the reviews I see this to be a common theme. Why then does the company not respond with a solution? Do they not even bother to read these reviews? Fix this now!!

Update: now gets 5 stars. Network connectivity-drop resolved. This is great for remote control of spa temp from anywhere indoors in the winter. Temp down during the week, then up when we know we will be using it. Almost triple digits F, so now that snow is shoveled off the cover, will be in the spa soon. Snow flurries today, so will be beautiful, and highly therareutic. Good job Gecko! have been waiting for this update since we got ourswim spa last April. Great idea. Mid summer we got the previous version, which used a separate Gecko network driven by the spa controller. Range was poor, and we needed to switch our iPad from our home network to the Gecko network each time we wanted to use the Spa app. And then back again to use our home network. Now the spa is on our home network, as it should be. Downloading the new app and updating spa firmware went very well - just followed their step by step instructions. The one glitch is our spa gets dopped from our home network each time we exit the app. So far we need to re-enter the WPA2 password. PIA now, but hopefully will work this out. May be related to poor in.touch wireless strength/antenna, since that has always been a problem. Line-of-sight only 20 ft through a glass door and spa plastic skirt from iPod to Gecko antenna module, but connectivity has never worked well. Will keep trying w/ home network. Only additional media is one solid door/drywall plus now some of the spa water to pass through.
