Bugs
Trying to control the SPA temperature with Apple Watch Ultra 1 , cannot increase temperature , just decrease, I was using screen logic before , it seems this app is not mature yet , not recommend to upgrade from screen logic controller
Pentair acts like they are interested in fixing issues
but after the initial contact they send because of these feedback pages you never hear back and things remain the same my biggest issues is both the web based and App do not show actual energized features at log on ( web shows all off yet will display the pump speed of an active pump) and the App verifies connection but won’t make changes and ultimately will tell you there is an issue and ask if you want to wait or log off , but that takes a while to show up so you think your changes are taking place , best to log off / log on every time

No way to reach support. Isn’t connecting. Asking for IP and passcode. Never asked that before
Just needs to be more reliable
Reliability getting better and better with the upgrades over the last few years. Still need to close it and reopen for every single use. Sometimes it completely drops off line and can’t be controlled remotely. We like to heat the hot tub remotely when solar power is max and not to be able to do that is frustrating. Also I’m worried I won’t be able to turn off the hot tub heater remotely and will have to keep drawing electricity from the grid until I can get home and manually shut it off. Overall great app though!
App is buggy and unsupported
I have a new system. One month old and have expensive buyer’s remorse. To operate the pool you are totally dependent on the app, which is terrible. Offline and inoperable constantly. When the app won’t work, neither will your pool or spa. And if you need customer support , it’s only available during their business hours. Don’t buy Pentair automation for your pool.
