It feels like the app limitations are a result of not staffing the right talent, or that there isn’t someone in the company who is focused solely on user experience. 2 stars because the physical product is great but the digital experience is wasteful. The most important thing with a device like this is checking the battery via an app. You can easily do this with headphones and other devices that have a supporting app, but the Hövding app is like a static landing page. Hire a strategic HR and org development person to help be intentional about finding the right development staff to do more with less if there is no company resource to make this happen to date.

- I seem to need to log on repeatedly (and go through an introductory screen as though I were a new user each time) - I guess I can only be logged on with 1 device at a time - iPhone or iPad. - there is no cumulative information on my trips that I can find. - only one leg of a trip is captured as I can see, meaning that when I stop somewhere and remove the helmet on my return trip the previous one is now gone. - just noticed my trips in the last month were not captured as I didn’t check the app each time I biked ( I hope that it is not necessary to log on every time and that the helmet still functions without logging on)

Looks good so far. I like knowing I can put an emergency contact. More than one in fact! _Update_ After actual use of app, it seems to lack a visual trip summary (like electric scooter can provide). Developers, please fix this! I will have to see if I can download a running app that can document my trips.

The app is pretty limited in what it will do, & journey tracking is very basic. It also updates your trips very slowly... I love the ‘emergency contact’ feature, which is is why i gave it 2 stars, & haven’t deleted it.
