Can’t even reinstall
Doesn’t work
This app looks very promising, and I love the idea. But despite my best efforts, the “Home” grid of shortcuts just won’t sync to my Apple Watch, which renders this app pretty useless. Hopefully I’m just missing something, or there will be a fix soon 🤞
Disappointed
I bought this based on the positive reviews but the fact that it can only display automations and not sensor readings, like an outdoor thermometer, make this app very disappointing.
Very functional
Works well, could use better direction for new users though. Also wish it had Complications for watch faces that don’t have the circle icon.
Getting Better
Update: Sorry, I have to drop my rating again. The watch app is back to being mostly worthless (unless you re-configure everything). Per developer responses to previous issues, I opened to phone app to see if it would resolve the “sync issue,” but no. The complications open the app, but tapping anything just beeps. It seems that all my “linked actions” are now “unknown.” I guess I can re-associate all of them, but it seems kinda ridiculous that I spend more time maintaining these than the time these shortcuts are saving me. ————— Update: I’m increasing my rating because one of the issues described below was apparently a bug on Apple’s side, and the developer is very responsive. ————— I bought this app based on the good reviews, but I’m not seeing what all the praise is for… I set up my shortcuts and tried to arrange them, but once a shortcut is placed side-by-side with another, you can’t pull it back out onto its own line. I contacted the developer, and they confirmed, “This is a limitation of the current grid system that the app uses. We are working towards a fix for version 2.” Seems like pretty basic functionality to miss. Then for the past few days when I went to actually use a shortcut, my watch just dinged (and the action didn’t run). I just tried again after launching the app on my phone and it worked, so maybe there’s hope. But it’s obviously not reliable, so it kinda defeats the purpose of the app. Maybe version 2 will actually be usable…
Needs update for iOS 14
Takes a long time for anything to happen once you are pushing on a button in the watch app. Where is the widget for iOS 14? You’ve had months to develop for it.
For scenes only
I read the description and missed that this is only for scenes, not individual accessories too 😞 I only have 3 scenes so this app doesn't do much for me (how many scenes do y'all have out there?? 😅). The changing scene suggestions throughout the day is an interesting idea but, again, nothing I can use. If you have lots of scenes to manage, this is probably great. If you have just a few, it's fairly pointless.
