Looks great so far
Starting a square foot garden with 6 boxes of 16 sq. ft. each. This is exactly what I need to manage it and more. Set up each box as a numbered garden. This app has everything I was hoping to find. I'm certain that as I get the garden started this winter/spring I'll be changing to 5 stars.
Pretty, pretty good!
Just started using this and I like it. I have 2 raised beds and one window box and this accommodates all three. Kudos to the programmers! Now if you would just come over and help me keep up with the weeds...
Great App!
I am a beginning Gardner and this app is excellent for planning. I expect it will be a great way to keep track of things as I go along. I am looking forward to all the possibilities with the current app and future improvements.
Garden tracker
Excellent app! Very easy to use and quite flexible in developing the design of the garden. I have tried several apps and this is by far the best so far. It is easy to change information about crop choices and gives a good overall view of garden plan.
Windows like
If you love Windows, you might be able to tolerate this app. Problem number 1: no undo. This has always been what sets Apple interfaces apart. Without it, you're afraid to experiment and the computer rules you rather than vice versa. Beyond this, the app is rigid and nonintuitive. Only square plans. Only certain varieties of certain plants. And while the program knows where the ipad is, it only uses this information to tell you about when the sun rises and the phase of the moon. It would have been easy for it to also look up you growing zone and the times of last and first frost.
Good Idea Needs Improvement
Needs some work. A lot of bugs. For example, days till harvest shows as one on some plants (dill) even after I just planted as seeds.
Very handy!
Simple to use and full of awesome features. You want this app!
