No Wi-Fi connection
Modem is literally 8 ft from grill. Shows plenty of signal strength while selecting which Wi-Fi to use but won’t actually connect to it to where you can use it.

I’ve had this smoker for 4+ years. I added a PWM controller. Keeps the temperature correct and allows for the smoke to be set easily. The window is useless. Get rid of it. I smoke at least once a week!

The grill regularly drops connectivity to the WiFi despite being very close to the router. I’ve also been having problems getting the probe target temps to stick which means I don’t get the notifications when I’m getting close. However when things do work, it’s very convenient. Unfortunately it’s rare when I get through an entire cook and everything. Stays connected and works properly.

The biggest point of having the app for me is for letting me know what temps my food is at without staring at the app or the grill, but even though the latest update states that it fixed an issue setting goal temps, it hasn’t been fixed. I used to be able to set goals with a bit of fiddling, now it doesn’t at all, so i either have to watch the app or watch the grill. Added info: I’m able to set goal temps now after deleting and reinstalling the app, however, now I do not get notifications, regardless of the settings in the app or in my phone, so it’s still useless.

Either I received a lemon grille with non-functioning Bluetooth or this app cannot connect to my DLX. I was never able to utilize it and it’s been over a year since I bought my device.

The smoker pro is a 5star grill, the app deserves 0 stars. It will show a temp probe failure (the controller on the grill shows the correct temp). I removed the app then reinstalled it. The bluetooth install never took the code and kept requesting new codes (love that it hides the code as you type, who is concerned about it being stolen - its a smoker for gods sake!). Th company should get their money back from their app developer!!
