Skip this - bogus clean
I’ve used Amenify twice for supposed deep clean appointments now, and both were severely disappointing. The first appointment maid broke a couple different things, even after I pointed them out to her and offered to either remove the objects or requested she skip cleaning them if she could not be careful. She literally presented the second broken item to me with a smile on her face, it was eery and felt as if she had possibly done it on purpose? The clean was not at all “deep,” and she had left my apartment within an hour. When I asked her if she could do some extra cleaning for a Better tip she agreed. She proceeded to let another maid into my place to chat while she pretended to clean. They talked about how this Amenify maid service had terrible cleaners and the lowest of standards of previous places of employment. She pocketed an extra $20 in cash for leaving so many things undone. The second appointment was much the same. The cleaners this time were friendly enough, but there were 4 people present and still they managed to skip supposedly guaranteed chores entirely. They didn’t touch the baseboards, windows, window sills/frames, doors or door frames at all whatsoever. The window blinds were only halfway dusted, even after they roughly beat at them for several minutes quite unnecessarily (it was loud and damaging). The wooden floor was barely mopped as all the previous marks were still there, just wet. I paid extra for 3 more chores of microwave interior clean, oven interior & refrigerator interior. Way overpriced for a minimal wipe down in each case. They skipped the freezer entirely, and the oven they did not scrape anything from the bottom & they left tons of cleaning solution all inside so I had to clean again as it’s toxic if you attempt to cook food. They advertise saying their prices are so much lower than the competition, but they are actually WAY higher for a totally incomparable & awful clean. Stay far away!!!
