Poor execution
App requires uploading to the machine to then download from the machine in another application Also app has very few designs and does a poor job of sorting between them by size and an even worse job scaling designs Do better.
Only allow you to see designs already on machine, NOT your own library
This suite of apps is a total gimmick. Very limited functionality. I have a considerable library of embroidery designs in i Cloud that my iPad has access to but the app and the others cannot be used to send to embroidery machine. Edit on a computer, put it on a stick and put it on machine. If you want to edit designs already on your machine, you’ll have to hard usb cable to sewing machine and scoop them up. Also, “editing” means rotate, slight resize, recolor. Not much that you can’t already do on your machine. SUPER disappointed. Reconsidering purchase of high end model.
Doesn’t find my 15000
Won’t connect although the WiFi on my machine is turned on. What’s the point of an app that won’t connect?
What a disappointment
This is soooo limiting. I agree with the other reviewers. First, I had to wait a week to get the app because I got the message "this redemption code has already been used". After 2 phone calls and a week wait I got an email with a code that worked. The help section is not helpful. I've been very disappointed with this. I too, spent a fortune for my Janome and love it, but the app to edit gets a D- sorry
Can't download AcuDesign
Been trying to download the free App for AcuDesign sent QR code went thru all the prompts and every time it said redemption code already taken check code and resubmit -I know it's taken it is mine - and no one helps me - been trying all different ways and sending messages and they say I need $49.00 . It was free with my new janome machine which wasn't cheap
Cruel trick to Apple users with MC 1500!
Oh, how Janome has taunted those of us who live in an Apple world! It seemed wonderful to have wifi and apps for design with the MemoryCraft 1500 for which I paid 12K expecting a full range of high level embroidery capabilities. But no! Apple users are relegated to this app along with another bomb, AccuDesign and a couple others that are a bit more useful (one for monitoring embroidery and one for embroidery placement). Janome should be more forthright about how marginalized Apple users would remain even after buying the MC15000 with their apps. Yes, apps (plural). Is there any reason why they can’t hire folks who can make these multiple apps play nicely in a unified app so you don’t have to bounce back and forth from one to another? If you’re looking at the Janome apps for exceptionally limited capabilities on Apple devices, this is where you can find them! But don’t be fooled into thinking this app will actually take the place of the embroidery software the Windows users get to play with which is not accessible to Mac users unless Windows and a bootcamp type helper is also installed on their machines. Do it right, Janome! Find out what sort of high expectations in the world of creativity that Apple users bring to you!
Needs WORK
Ok... while I love being able to do designs on my iPad and sending them to my machine... This App will only allow me to use Gothic font... I am hoping it's an oversight.. Please FIX it....
