The word "VITAMIN" is derived from the Latin word "VITA" which means "VITALITY" or "LIFE". Indeed, our life would not be possible without vitamins. This minimalist app tracks your nutrients. It is simple and full of useful functions at the same time. The app is fully compatible with Apple Health enabling you to monitor the state of your health the way you're used to. There are iCloud backups that ensure seamless sync between your devices and keep your data safe in case you lose your device. The dietary supplements section automatically calculates how many vitamins and minerals you get and saves them. The pills section empowers you to create any pills unsupported by Apple Health. For example, you can add vitamin D3, Aspirin or any other tablet you plan to track. You can always go back to your nutrient-tracking history. Sometimes you might need to analyze your past eating habits or give the report to your doctor. Monthly and yearly summaries give you a good perspective into longer periods of time. A list of foods, recommended by the USA National Institute of Health, is shown for each vitamin and mineral. Initially, each vitamin and mineral defaults to a recommended daily average for an adult. Apple Watch app supports all watch faces and provides useful information about your nutrients. SAFE AND SECURE: Privacy is not something you are merely entitled to, it is an absolute prerequisite. Missing key features for it to be user friendly
The app is missing a lot of key features below: 1. Ability to enter the supplement and have to supplement’s vitamins and minerals show up 2. Ability to create your own supplement 3. Missing probiotics It is cheap for a reason. I can do my own app better than this one by using excel.
Not bad
It would be great if you could add other holistic supplements and see a calendar view where a little check mark or something pops up if you took your vitamins that day. You also should add and create an extensive list of vitamins like omega-3s and whatnot as my multivitamin has that but I can’t add it to it. It would be cool to be able to take a picture of the supplement facts and it auto populate for you. The aesthetic of the app is nothing great either, pretty basic. I do, however, like that it tells you information about the each vitamin (ie. common foods they’re found in, daily dosage, function, deficiency symptoms, overdose symptoms, and fun facts). Definitely onto something with this app but just not quiet there yet.
Suggestion
I really like the idea of this app. I just wish I didn’t have to manually type in each one. If this app was connected to an app like cronometer then I could just track my food in the cronometer app and it would be automatically updated into this app. saving me a considerable amount of time I can see myself not using this app in the future, due to having to type in everything individually every day. Since I already have to track my food it would just make it that much easier. I hope you consider to work with a company like cronometer since I love being able to just scan the barcode of my food and go.
Finally!
Finally a way to track my supplements and vitamins! This app is simple to navigate. No frills…just what I needed.
Great app needs more variety
Very good app, love that syncs with Apple Health App, but you should add more options, like protein, fish oils, fats, creatine too
Used to work well
Either an iOS 17 update or an app update now broke this app. It intermittently records taking of a supplement and seemingly randomly populates 80% of the vitamin and mineral to Apple health. If this bug is fixed it would be awesome. When it worked it was awesome! I have my centrum multivitamin set up and all the minerals and vitamins are accounted for in the app. The reminder to take was also helpful. Hopefully this can be fixed
