Fasting is a terrific way to retrain your mind and body to eat only when you are truly hungry. From a scientific standpoint, fasting is the metabolic state where you have completed the digestion and absorption of a meal (around 3 to 5 hours after eating). While you fast, your body continues to burn excess fat. You might start out fasting from dinner to breakfast, and then work towards fasting from dinner to lunch. Keeps resetting
Trying to track longer fast. I go into the app an notice it it’s on a 24hr instead of a the manual amount of time I put in. So annoying!!! Fix it!!!
A simple yet effective fasting app.
If your looking for an easy fasting app - this is it. The app gives you complete control over entering data. Most importantly it goes back in time enabling one to enter the proper time of a fast that has started. This app is a winner!
Nothing without payment
I am not able to look the app over, every button I push says pro version only. I can’t even look it over to see if I would like the pro version.
Disappointed
It is easy to use. And I upgraded to Pro. But I set my schedule and it doesn’t show that I’m fasting. I made sure my schedule was active. But it still doesn’t show I’m on a fast. I can’t track my water or anything. A little disappointed.
Love the encouragement!
My favorite thing about this app are the encouraging and motivating messages it sends along the way. I hope this remains a feature as it’s what sets it apart from other fasting apps for me.

All the other apps require way too much personal info/data and are bloated with “features” I don’t want.
Fasting with privacy
There are several fasting apps out there, some simple and others loaded with features. One thing they seem to have in common is the requirement to create an account for even basic usage. Accounts = data tracking, and I don’t want my fasting data to be a marketable product. But guess what! Stupid Simple Fasting is simple and non-invasive! The ads are unobtrusive, the timer is easy to use, and the app will even send encouraging messages on request. Well done, developers.
