Nice and simple; just needs an update…
Love the app. Please update to support iOS 16 features (doesn’t show up in Focus Mode Allow lists for some reason, doesn’t know about Focus Modes, etc)
Great app. Bug on iPhone 13
Love this app. Use it daily! Was bummed to see that the ring does not work properly anymore on iPhone 13. It just doesn’t move! (Though the timer is working) Have my fingers crossed this will be fixed in a future update :)
Lack of notifications
This would be a great app for the watch, however it has a lack of notifications. One of the biggest issues and meditation is regaining a sense of focus during a session. The phone app has the ability to set off multiple chimes signify the beginning and end of the session along with check and chimes to regain your focus. The watch version of the app fails to make use of the haptics and the noise on the watch. It is simply a timer that logs in minutes for mindfulness. If do you shortcomings could be fixed, it would be a great app.
Nice and simple; just needs an update…
Love the app. The most recent version does correctly record sessions as Mindfulness Minutes (not Workout minutes), contrary to another review. The app just needs an update so it can get with the times. Would be nice to have watchOS watch-face-complication support, as well as watchOS support for the pre-sit preparation countdown. A couple of bugs I’ve noticed: Workout Mode on watchOS doesn’t always turn off when the meditation timer ends (especially if the End button is tapped before the sit is over and the app crashes). Interface on iOS 14 is getting a bit buggy. Fingers crossed!
No sound, so don’t know when session is over
Tried the Apple Watch app and there was no sound. So I went about ten minutes over the time before I decided to check only to find the timer had stopped ten minutes ago. So then I tried the iPhone app and it has sound but didn’t upload mindfulness data to the health app
Screen needs to be on
This all requires that your screen be on for it to be useful. On the phone, the timer will pause if your turn your screen off. On the watch, the bell does not chime if your screen goes dim, making it useless. Also after daylight savings time started, it began to log my sessions twice.
Nice app, but...
This was exactly what I was looking for - simple meditation timer without bells and whistles that records to Health app. Huge drawback is that when using on Apple watch there is no indication (vibration) when the timer is done! So you could be sitting there and would have to keep checking your watch while you meditate.
an issue with HealthKit permissions and a sorting issue on the recent sessions screen.
