Better than expected!
It's so much better than I thought it would be! I've been struggling with mental health problems recently, so I decided to start trying to take steps to improve my health. I started looking for some sort of app to help and came across this one which had good ratings.... turns out it was for a good reason!
Good free app but
Some of the questions it asks aren’t clear. What does “manage your intake” mean? And sometimes the multiple choice questions aren’t varied enough. With mental health, it’s often not at all accurate to say “yes” or “no.” (even awful, bad, ok, good, and great are not enough sometimes) I’d also appreciate notifications that remind me that the app exists. I’d use the app more that way. I tend to use it first thing in the morning and then again at night. That said, for a free app, it’s definitely good. In the middle of dealing with anxiety, it’s vagueness can make things a little worse though.

This encompasses EVERYTHING AND MORE than the other highest rated apps, and it’s completely free. I’m so, so grateful to have found this, and even moreso that I don’t have to pay to help myself. Thank you so much for doing such a service for anyone who is blessed to download this app. You guys have began to heal what many, many people and methods could not. Thank you. It literally sounds like I’ve been paid to say this, but for a disclaimer, I have not. I’m just genuinely impressed, and use it for so many different things throughout the day.

I have CPTSD and I love the beauty and simplicity of this app. Helps me keep my “bumpers up and from rolling into the deep end. I’ve been using it about a week and I’ve recommended it to others. I would love a feature that would track sunlight exposure as this is supposed to help with vitamin D processing and mood lifting. I taught meditation and yoga for 30 years but unfortunately that compounded my CPTSD because yoga and meditation groups are very cultish so I don’t use the meditation and yoga features in the app. Fortunately I have my own versions of non-yoga stretching. I find most of the meditations ok in the app but I’ve developed my own way to meditate, but I’m happy the meditations in the app are at least not dangerous like some meditations are.
Better self
This is a very good app, it helps me to better understand my problems and gives me guidance to help me. Something for every thing.
Please add a sleep hours tracker!
I LOVE this app. My therapist recommended it to me to help track my moods and I love the simplicity of it and the aesthetic of it - it makes mood tracking a lot less complicated and so much easier. You can track a lot of other things and there are daily affirmations and tons of other stuff all for completely free. The only thing I’d want to improve is that you can track your quality of sleep but there is no way to actually track how many hours of sleep you get each day and I’d really love to have that option. Otherwise, awesome app!!
