Description
E-bikes for commuting
Metro Mobility is not your average bike share. Our electric bike program allows you to transform your commute with:

A) ALL DAY RENTALS - allow you to commute and take trips throughout the day.

B) ROUND TRIP RENTALS - mean you can ride to any destination (even if there’s no station nearby), lock to any bike rack or pole, and know your bike will be waiting for the return trip.

C) ELECTRIC BIKES - provide added boost with an electric motor to let you ride farther, faster, and sweat free.

How MetroShare™ Works:

1. Locate a Hub - Open the app and look for your nearest station location. See how many e-bikes are available at each location in real time.

2. Rent - Scan the QR code on any available e-bike to begin your rental, and it will automatically unlock from the station.

3. Ride - The bike’s electric drive system will make pedaling effortless as you glide past traffic to work or the store. When you arrive, use the built-in cable lock to secure the bike to a rack or pole. It will remain rented until you’re ready to head back (or to your next destination).

4. Return - To end your rental, ride back to the station where the bike was rented and simply plug the station’s ChargeLock cable into the bike. This will end your rental, lock the bike to the station, and begin charging.

Loving it so far

Just found out about the program wish I knew about it before… just curious if we can rent bikes overnight like it says on one of the pictures for advertising. Like after 11pm when it says it’s closed?

Great experience.

So nice to have a convenient ebike to ride. These things should be everywhere. Definitely need more.

Love it, great for commuting to work!

The company I work for in Cambridge recommended I use park & pedal to park and commute to work for cheaper, and it has been a great experience so far! Much cheaper than the $350+ alternative of renting parking monthly. Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation on a budget

Energizing my day

Gotten to test one of the Boston locations recently. App is great, and the overall experience is excellent. Getting into the city quickly is nice, but the appeal to me is the rush of flying along the Charles in the morning. Arriving at work feeling more energetic, and don’t even break a sweat in the process

Great service

Was fortunate enough to test this program in Newton, makes my commute a lot easier and cost effective. Now I don’t have to pay for expensive parking in the city.
