I love the entire point of this app. However, it can become pretty inconvenient at times. Like when playing back footage and it pops on to block your view prevent you from being able to pause playback until you click out of the layover. Or when you are mid-stream-of-consciousness typing a message, and it pops on. Also, it does not return control to the prior app when the layover is finished. So, you have to manually re-select the previous app. 5 STARS IF: You could use the ESC key to end the layover quickly. & The prior in-use app is re-selected when the layover is done/closed. (This way, interruption is extremely minimal, if focus is needed) & Select certain apps that prevent the layover when in-use. (Least Valuable)

The app works great as-is. However, I would love to see an option to disable Intermission while certain apps are open. For example, I would like to disable Intermission while using Zoom or Teams on a video call. I know I can pause Intermission, but I often forget until 20 minutes into the video call and I then can't see.

I had purchased this years ago. The original developer sold it to a new owner. I can no longer use the old version and the developer will not respond to emails or twitter messages to offer a way to use the application without buying it again. I previously loved the application but cannot support an app developer who won't respond to simple requests
