Unusable
After selecting your weight in imperial units it will just keep going back to metric. The current weight and goal weight also revert to the original values setup when I downloaded the app. I can not change it. Another annoying thing is that I can’t set my sex to male. It just keeps going back to female. My birthdate keeps resetting to January 1st 1990 (not my birthday). I used a few different calorie calculators online that estimated my calories at 1800 but Fitatu says I should be eating between 1752 and 2476. Every time I put in my information the app gives me a new result. I wanted to like the app as I dislike MyFitnessPal but I don’t think I’ll use this app. It’s buggy and certainty not worth paying for. The app is NOT ready for the marketplace. I wanted to give 2 stars because of the intermittent fasting tools available in the app but the app is not good.
It’s ok, but that’s not enough
You can tell the difference between most indie and made-by-a-corporation apps and, sadly, Fitatu is an example of the latter. It lack the love and attention to detail that competition offers. No widgets or shortcut automations are a dealbreaker for me. Being Polish, I really wanted to love this app, but I’m gonna stick with FoodNoms. Don’t get me wrong, it is a good app, but it looks like an iOS version of a multi-platform app and doesn’t even try to utilize the latest and greatest of iOS. I’m gonna give it another try in a year or so, but for now it’s a no from me.
Easy to use, Easy to add foods
Great app for tracking meals and snacks, and for tracking macro nutrients. Know where you stand through the day, not just in limiting calories but if you’re trying to hit a protein goal for building muscle. Can add foods or ingredients by scanning barcode and filling in fields.
.
it kept changing the settings that i had set
Ads after update
This app was so good but after last update is just useless. Hundreds ads after add any product make me angry. You can’t even change your calories targets because app won’t let you go before 5sec ad... uninstalled that’s all
