Fine if you’re not the target audience
I’m profoundly depressed. Took the included test. It agreed. Then it started telling me why CBT was the answer and gave me a hypothetical example of someone thinking the wrong way. In which way? It wanted me to choose how the imaginary person was wrong. Then it explained why my answer was wrong. This is precisely what you do not do with depressed people. If you think Bobby McFerrin is a life coach, this app might work for you. But if you actually need this kind of help, find another app. Didactic, patronizing, and preening all at once? Not the best vibe for me.

this test is not helpful and confusing because it only gives the options “not at all” and “several days” and then more frequently than that. so there is not anything between “not at all” and “several days.” i only had trouble sleeping one night. so how can i answer these questions?
