Chaps Connected is the companion app for Chaps wearables, designed to keep your life connected. For example, track daily activity or customize your alerts and alarms. Track daily activity – Keep track of how many steps you take. You can even set a daily goal to stay motivated. Set a personal goal – Count the number of times you exercise, drink water or build a custom goal of your choice. Select notifications – Receive filtered notifications for your favorite contacts and apps. Connect with other apps – Send your daily activity data to your favorite health platforms (Apple HealthKit) Turn your hybrid smartwatch into a remote control with customizable buttons that can control your music, check the date and more.
Needs accuracy work
I love the look of the watch, simple functions, no charging needed, and overall potential. The sleep and steps are not consistently accurate. It has counted my time reading in bed as sleep, for example, and the steps are usually lower for the same distance as compared to my Garmin. I like that my Garmin lets me adjust sleep time to correct inaccuracies. This is not possible on Chaps. I would also like to see more cross compatibility with apps such as myfitnesspal and Garmin.

The app stopped Sync-ing to my watch, the count of how many steps I took a day was inaccurate, recorded about 1/2 - 3/4 of the amount of steps I actually took. The only thing I like about the watch is the look. The smart feature has been a waste of time after the first couple months.

To be honest, this was bought as a present for me and my family did not know that it was a smart watch. Was excited to try something more than a step counter. Found the app very easy to use and am finding the watch to be surprisingly functional, look forward to seeing what all it can do.
