It does not say the Bible is the infallible word of God, if asked. It talks about ‘various perspectives’ and the prayers it comes up with are likewise very peculiar. If this bizarre and frankly heretical aspect of the app were removed, it wouldn’t be bad. As it stands, it’s a pass.

First, I love how simple and straight forward this is. Simplicity is a key for me with everything and this app makes it easy and convenient to hear/read Scripture. Also, I love the short commentaries after each passage! Having both of these provided so concisely is why I keep using it. Things I’d change include: - The voice for the commentary is too Ai and not as natural or well paced as the one that reads the Scriptures. This can be distracting, especially when it’s often leading us into prayer. - The name of the app (and some of the text throughout) doesn’t make sense (anymore?) as it’s clearly not merely a bedtime app. I use it morning and evening (as the app encourages), but the title as well as some of the text in the app are still set as if it were a bedtime thing. Refine the voice(s) (both could be improved) and clean up things like the name of the app, and the random “bedtime” references, better representing the full value of the app and I’d give it five stars easily.

Great for people who have dyslexia and for kids who don’t stay focused when reading. When you listen to the audio you can absorb and concentrate on what the Bible is saying. Overall this is a great way to connect with Jesus especially if you are a kid.
