Works well for heart rate zone based training. Constantly crashes on Sprint 8 workouts to the point where it is currently unusable. The Apple Watch app and iPhone app log double workouts. A shame because using the HR zone based training works so well and is a game changer. Update: rated 1 star. Would rate zero if I could. App completely does not work now stating there is a connection error. Already uninstalled and reinstalled on multiple devices.
Janky app, weird business model
I only did 1 workout so this is not a very thorough review, but this was a bad experience. Pros: * Connected quickly to Horizon 7.0AT Treadmill * Outdoor workout scenery was nice, but it didn't feel like it was designed as a workout. Just a camera moving at a steady pace along a flat road, then a sudden cut to the same in a flat forest. Cons: * Menus are slow and unintuitive despite doing very little * No workout details before starting except starting speed; the workout I did was just 30 minutes at 3mph with inclines ranging from 0-2. Would have preferred some speed intervals or hills for some variety, but there was no way to tell what the workout contained until I was done. * Every time it beeped I worried it was speeding up with no warning but it was usually just alternating between 0 and 0.5 incline which are both essentially flat. * Locked me out of manual treadmill controls which seems dangerous. You should allow overrides. * Doesn't allow starting a workout unless treadmill is fully stopped but immediately starts treadmill at starting speed (3mph at level 1) - would prefer to speed up gradually or control my own speed * Leaderboard stuff doesn't interest me and clutters UI which runs off the screen during the workout. * No indication of remaining time. After over 30 minutes of the 30 minute workout, the workout continued and I assumed it was looping, so I stopped and it says I stopped at 99% * Ambient noises in the outdoor workouts need some balancing. The video stopped by a very loud waterfall for a while and I had to take my earbuds out. * Gave it permission to read heart rate from Apple Watch but it didn't work * Registered users get points at the start of each month, with the option to buy more. You can do boring workouts for free, or you can spend points to do moderately less boring workouts with scenery. I'm glad it's possible to use the app for free, but I would strongly recommend a subscription service like iFit over paying per workout if you can afford it.
Not great
It would be nice to see what the virtual workouts consist of, incline, pace etc. not just pick what level you consider yourself at. Also my app connected to my Fitbit one time but since my data is not being recorded in my Fitbit app. So frustrating when there isn’t any easy fix. I have deleted and re-synced my apps and nothing is working. I’m not sure why it worked one time and then not.
Can’t connect to 7.8 AT-04
New Horizon Fitness treadmill, doesn’t connect with the app. Called support, who could also not get it to connect. Waiting for them to call back.

Selecting height options is incorrect.
I guess this app was built for sky scrapers that like to workout. When I select my height the shortest option I have is 170 feet and the tallest is 220 feet. Sadly I’m no where near any of those numbers. I was hoping for a number somewhere around 5 foot 10. If that could be added that would be great.
Terrible
I loved the app until I ran out of “z points”. I did not see where or how to buy more points. It seems that the app gives you a balance of points that get used up as you exercise. So frustrating. Why not earn points by exercising? No, that would make too much sense.
