Cheater-friendly
I was hoping to win the monthly challenge in order to let you guys know whether the app really pays out or not. I was in first place until someone named Mat came along toward the end of the month and started cheating to keep just ahead of me. Apparently you can start the app and then go for a drive, as well as leave it on for a long time while doing nothing, in order to get points. There were a couple of times where I had more miles than Mat (true miles, because I’m in marathon training), but he was in first place because he had more overall time. I don’t need the $100, and according to his review, they didn’t pay it anyway. But I don’t want an app that’s cheater-friendly to spoil my enjoyment of running. This app needs to be taken down.
Abandoned app
I’m guessing the developers have abandoned this app. I won the monthly rankings and no word on where my $100 is. Avoid at all costs.
Sweet!
This is a nice simple fun app that keeps me motivated to get my miles in.
An update to the monthly running challenge.
