AirBands wireless Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) cuffs, are the world’s first fully automated and wireless BFR training solution. AirBands solve all the problems traditional Blood Flow Restriction training has previously had. There is no need to manually pump up your device, as the arm or leg cuffs you wear automatically take your calibration pressure (controlled via the app), then inflate to your personalised pressure zone. You can inflate and deflate your arm or leg cuffs at any point on the app. The three main benefits of using Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) as a training method are. - Increase in strength - Maximise your muscle - Improve endurance
Run away
When they work they’re great. But usually the app doesn’t work.
Great product
We use these in our PT studio quite a bit. At first there was some issues with the connectivity but that seems to have been resolved!
Terrible app
This app is trash
Yikes
15% of the time, it works every time!
Do not buy
First of all it takes 30 min to pair with bluetooth, doesn’t inflate, one didnt work. You cant wear 4 at the same time. Waste of money. Rip off
Piece of ….
Buy these if you want to waste $700 on cuffs that don’t work.
Don’t bother
The app is terrible, underdeveloped and has major issues. The biggest issue being it doesn’t connect or detect the BFR cuffs via Bluetooth making the cuffs completely useless. Technical support at VALD makes things worse by asking if your Bluetooth is turned on even after telling them the issue is not my Bluetooth on the new iPhone 13 pro I use as it connects just fine to my Garmin watch, wireless headphones (2 pairs), Bose speaker and the Bluetooth on my truck all with no issues. Open the AirBands app and it repeatedly says “scanning” for the cuffs. Saga fitness should drop this app developer (VALD) and get a new one. Very disappointing and frustrating after paying for a premium product, thinking you’re going to get a premium product and then the app to control the cuffs doesn’t work.
- Major UI improvements and connectivity improvements. - Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.
