SOME THINGS ARE BETTER LEFT ALONE
I originally purchased Belight's Publisher (with ARt Text) about 8 or 10 years ago (Version 2). It was fantastic!! Just recently, I upgraded my iOS for my Mac Mini computer, which required that I upgrade my version of Publisher. What a disaster!!! The newest version is unwieldy, non-intuitive, and not nearly as user friendly as it was previously. I'm hoping with practice that I can master this new version, but as of now, I truly hate it. Sorry, but that's been my experience. I gave it 3 stars, because despite the difficulty I'm having with it, I'm hopeful that I'll eventually find it will work for me.

I've been using this program for years, and with the latest update they've removed the ability to print to a disc. You can now only print to a photo, envelope, or paper. If you set it to print to a disc tray the printer will instead print it to paper. This program is now crippled and mostly useless. Avoid it at all costs.
United StatesPrint function Completely Bugged Out - Useless!
I've had this software for years and have had a few minor problems with poor user interface. Today, I'll be making a switch to something else. The print function within the app is completely bugged out. I've called Apple and they've confirmed the problem lies within the Swiftpublisher app. Working under a deadline and they have no support line only a contact form. My deadline will have come and gone before I get a response. Unable to print selected pages, only allows me to print the entire document. Garbage

I am producing a family history book, including loads od text and lots of pictures at high resolution. The program can handle so far, everything that I've thrown at it. I find it versitle and easy to use. Even when I had trouble with a feature--like wrapping text around a rotated object, the help menu worked fine in helping me learn how to do it. I haven't gone to print yet, but the previews that I have printed look great.

I was a loya Quark user for over 25 years. There is nothing that i could do in Quark that i can't do in Swift! Absolutely amazing!

This update adds new label paper templates, and brings various improvements. - Added new Avery and Herma label templates to the program library. - When printing documents with the File Data field, the Quantity parameter now tied to the number of the source file strings. - Fixed the problem with displaying the layer that has a barcode in it. - Zoom-in has been restricted to the document size to avoid the issue of canvas disappearing. - Resolved the problem with displaying imported PDFs on macOS 12 (Monterey). - Other minor fixes.
