Very cool UI for browsing images

I was looking for a photo browser that works better than Apple’s preview, but doesn’t require the cataloging function of Lightroom, Aperture or iPhoto. I’m happy to report that Image Viewer Deluxe (IVD) has a very speak user interface that easily lets you see thumbnails of the images on the left and full screen image of whatever image is selected. I hope the developer will update future versions with more features as I really like the product. Here is a list of feature requests: 1 - Add ability to delete a photo. Frequently I want to browse a collection and delete bad photos. It would be great to do this in the app. 2 - Speed improvements. Your initial load when you drag/drop a folder of several thousand images seems slow. Any chance you can cache the first hundred, show the preview and then go back to scanning the rest? It would let folks get started without having to wait as long. 3 - Consider adding some meta data tags and OS X label support. I frequently like to do a sort of photos and mark any really good photos. Being able to flip thru a collection of images and delete the bad ones, add tags, etc. Adobe Photo Deluxe did a great job of doing this, and it even let you keep 2 images open side by side so you could cycle thru a set of photos and choose the best picture to use. 4 - Work with PopClip to create an IVD PopClip extenion so users can select an image and preview directly in IVD. 5 - Work with PathFinder to create an IVD Slideshow module so power users can use you directly from the Mac Finder replacement. it will help you garner a loyal following among high end hobbyists and pros.

Don't bother

No instructions. Cues don't function as say they will. Crashed when I tried to load photos. Waste of time and money.
