I like the game. But when you go to feed animals, it tries to minimize the game. I drag the food and it just thinks I’m trying to open all my open apps. So that’s really frustrating.

This game is great with a large variety of species, vendors and decorations. However, my one qualm with this game is that the land purchasing portion of it, is a bit shady. As I save shovels and money to buy up newer parcels of land, I’ve noticed that if I purchase a parcel adjacent to another parcel that was also on sale at the same time, the adjacent parcel’s price goes up significantly. Why is this???! This is the ONLY game I’ve noticed that happen in. I was looking to buy two plots, but didn’t have enough money in the game at the moment. I ended up purchasing the smaller, cheaper one. Now when I saved up enough money for the second one, and went to go buy it, the price on it had gone up!!! It also required me to have to be on another heart level as well. Can you guys please fix this and have the price points fixed as well? It’s enough for us to have corporate greed inflate costs in the real world nowadays, we don’t need it in the virtual world too.

This has happened a few times now. I purchased a fountain with gold coins to complete a time limit task. I did not get credit for the purchase in the task even though it was the fountain in the picture of the task. Please fix this problem.

I’ve tried a few different zoo games for iPad. None measures up to the old Zoo Tycoon game but some are better than others. This is one of the better ones. The animals are attractive and there is a decent selection of them, there are lots of buildings and it isn’t too hard to build up most of the in-game currencies. It is very hard to earn zoo coins but every sim game has some premium currency that they make hard-to-get in order to try to get you to spend real money to buy more. My main frustration is with the limited availability of food for the animals. After I’d unlocked a fair number of animals, I found I was constantly running out of vegetables and meat, but I had maxed out on factories and gardens that produced them, and all were fully upgraded. I couldn’t get more without paying real money (which I won’t do) so I had to stop adding more animals until I could level up enough to buy more. I suppose the devs want to try to convince me to spend money on the game, but it’s annoying to have my animals hungry and not be able to give them anything. I wish there were more ways to make or earn resources for the animals.
